Prose is an emergent form for me. With a few unfinished novels gathering dust in my office I have come to realise I will write a novel when I am good and ready. Over the years my prose has attracted attention (from Virago and several UK agents) and has won prizes and awards (Waterstone’s Fiction Prize, 1998 & Northern Arts Promise Award, 1999) but as yet, I am a novelist in waiting.
Current prose in progress
The Powerstation Feeling (full length novel)
Reverse Thrust (short story collection)
Plumb-lines (experimental prose work/novel)
